Founder and designer, Lauren Parla, founded PARLA the Label in late 2019. Adopting a shortened version of her great-grandmother’s maiden name, Parlatore, was the start of the contemporary brand. Parla is an Italian word which translates as “she speaks” and serves as the muse for every design. It is the very essence and confidence the wearer exudes when sporting the final product that speaks volumes without words.

Having worked over a decade in the corporate world prior to starting her own label, Lauren felt the frustrations of dressing for both the office and modern lifestyle. Finding traditional suiting to be outdated and drab, she wanted to modernize and elevate this classic wardrobe staple. Pulling inspiration from her business trips to Milan, the subtle sophistication that is the Milanese style is prevalent in the construction of each garment.
